Awareness of hidden illnesses is something that should be highlighted often because a lot of people look and see nothing so assume a person is perfectly fine.
If you look at me, you cannot see that there is problems with my health.
I was born with an ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) and when I was 18 I had open heart surgery, where a plastic patch was affixed to my heart. Barring a large scar down my chest which looks like a zipper, you cannot tell that there is anything wrong with me…but there are still issues with my heart.
If I tell you, and you tell one person…then this spreads awareness.
